KL5O Alaska Day Special Event

The KL5O Alaska Day Special Event Stations will be on the air in observance of Alaska Day. Here are the details of the operation:

Operating times: October 18, 2009 from 1800Z until October 19, 2008, 0600Z.
Bands will be 160 through 10 meters, including the WARC bands.
Modes will be Phone, CW and RTTY.
Operation will be scheduled to facilitate working North American stations, though all stations worldwide are encouraged to participate. See the On The Air link for time/frequency/mode information.
Alaska state QSO credit for the ARRL Year of the QSO Party award starts with the KL5O special event from Oct 18 2009 1800z to Oct 19 2009 0600z.
QSLs are available via LOTW, eQSL and if you want a hard copy QSL card, the QSL manager is AC7DX.
